21 nostalgic photos as Grimsby's Freeman Street Market marks 150th birthday
Grimsby’s Freeman Street Market celebrates its 150th birthday this summer with some fantastic celebrations planned.
The historic occasion will be marked with a day of family activities on Saturday, September 2 between 10am and 4pm. The big day is set to feature a kids' Ferris wheel, games, prizes, face painting, circus shows, bouncy castles, arts and crafts, workshops, special guests, live music, and more.
There'll also be free character meet and greets for the kids including Bluey, Coco Melon, Chase and Hey Duggee. A free petting zoo with furry friends and reptiles is being lined up as well, while mouthwatering street food from local vendors will be on offer.
