When is the Market open?
The Market is open on Tuesdays, Fridays & Saturdays 8 am-4 pm.
Select stalls remain open on Wednesdays & Thursdays including the food court between 9 am-2 pm.
Select food court traders (usually consistent of Dough Bros & Beast Burger) remain open for delivery on Fridays & Saturdays until 9 pm.
Do we take card payments?
Yes, most of our stalls now accept card payments, most even accept Android and Apple pay!
For the very few stalls (if any) that don’t accept card payments, the closest cash machine is located on the front of the market nearest the food court entrance.
How can I contact a stall?
Most of our stalls have a form of contact on our website. If there aren’t any contact details on our website, to contact the stall you can visit on any market days and our traders are happy to help!
How do I enquire about a stall?
To enquire about a stall, please call us on 01472 356518 or visit us in the Market office on any Market days between 9 am - 5 pm.
Your first steps to renting a stall would be a conversation with the Market office for both parties to gain relevant information such as rental costs and establishing what type of business you are before we send you away with an application form.
What is a barrow?
Our barrows are small, moveable units that are rentable to businesses looking to trade on Freeman Street Market. Our barrows are flexible to book and aren’t as big of a commitment as a stall.
Are dogs allowed on the Market?
Yes, dogs are allowed on the market as long as they remain on leads and away from the cafes and food preparation areas.
Are we open on Good Friday?
This is a question we get every year and the answer is yes, the market opens on Good Friday and through Easter weekend.
